Together for Tomorrow
'Our Rotherham'
Welcome to Strand 2 of the Together for Tomorrow project: the Picture trail, featuring the PictureThis! activity. This strand invites pupils and teachers to embark on a visual journey through their local and global communities, using images as powerful prompts for exploration and discussion.

By engaging with the Picture Trail, participants will develop observation and inference skills, foster empathy and inclusion, and spark creativity. All Picture trail schools will create a unique banner celebrating their school community. Please see the resources section for further details.

This is a fantastic opportunity for collaboration, supporting students in designing a school banner or entering art competitions, building teamwork and a strong sense of belonging.
​
The PictureThis! activity encourages everyone to see their environment with fresh eyes, reflect on what makes their community unique, and celebrate the Landscapes of Rotherham.
​
A bonus activity is the Rotary Club art competition, closing date Friday 13th March 2026.
