Case Study

From December 2021—July 2022, 13 school clusters worked together as participants on this programme, which has been co-constructed by the EEF, Derby Research School, Derbyshire headteachers and Derbyshire Local Authority.
Each workgroup focused on disciplinary literacy in a specific subject area — to explore how KS2 and KS3 teachers can implement evidence-informed disciplinary literacy strategies to support young people to talk, read and write like scientists, geographers, English scholars or historians.
