Brinsworth Ward
Brinsworth Playing Fields
River Rother

The playing fields are a large open space which has an enclosed play area for children under the age of 10 years, a MUGA (Multi Use Games Area), separate swings and roundabout for older children, 3 football pitches, a bowling green and a half mile sign posted walk with outdoor gym equipment around the circuit.
Dogs are welcome but we ask owners to pick up their mess and leave it in one of the numerous bins provided. We also ask that dogs are kept on leads.
The Field also plays host to the annual village fete and firework display.
Entrances to the park can be found on Field View, Whitehill Lane and Whitehill Road.
The Football Pitches
There are three football pitches available for use which are maintained by RMBC and Brinsworth Parish Council Amenity attendants.
Please contact office@brinsworthparishcouncil.gov.uk for up to date pitch fees and availability.
The Bowling Green
The Bowling Green is home to Brinsworth Bowling Club but is also open to all residents of Brinsworth.
Our green is maintained by RMBC and open April until September (or a little longer if the weather stays fine!).

River Rother—access to the river is very easy by car or by bus as it lies on the main bus routes from Rotherham or Sheffield. It is easy to find by car just off the M1 motorway, junction 33, via the Sheffield parkway to the village of Catcliffe.
