This animation, written and narrated by Traveller women, aims to dispel some of the common myths around the origins of Travellers and present Travellers' own story of where they have come from, drawing on their strong oral storytelling tradition.

Changing lives and overcoming exclusion through language education

We've worked with Friends, Families and Travellers to listen to the experiences of Gypsy, Roma and Traveller young people and share recommendations and resources to help protect them from bullying.

The Traveller Movement is a registered UK charity promoting inclusion and community engagement with Romani (Gypsies), Roma and Irish Travellers. The Traveller Movement seeks to empower and support Romani (Gypsies), Roma and Irish Travellers communities to advocate for the full implementation of their human rights.
