Places of Worship

Strand 6: Places of Worship Virtual Visits

Experience a virtual journey to religious buildings with our new resource, launched for Inter-Faith Week (9–16 November). This collection will feature a mix of newly created virtual tours and carefully curated links to existing resources, allowing students to explore diverse places of worship and learn about different faiths from their classroom.
As part of the Together for Tomorrow project, this strand supports themes of diversity, informed decision-making, tackling misinformation, and building community.
How teachers can use these resources:
• Select virtual tours or resource links that best fit your class’s learning objectives.
• Use the materials to prompt discussion about different faiths, beliefs, and community values.
• Integrate the resources into lessons during Inter-Faith Week or as part of your ongoing curriculum.
• Encourage students to reflect on what they learn and share their insights with the class.

All resources are designed to be flexible and adaptable, supporting a range of teaching styles and age groups.
