As a recognised Voice 21 Oracy Centre of Excellence, Meadow View Primary School is delighted to open its doors to fellow education professionals and share our oracy journey. This visit offers a unique opportunity to explore how purposeful talk underpins learning across the curriculum, including phonics, reading, writing, mathematics and the wider curriculum, as well as the significant role oracy plays within our Personal Development offer. Throughout the day, visitors will observe lessons from EYFS through to Year 6, showcasing a wide range of effective oracy strategies and techniques in action. You will see how progressive, structured talk supports pupils to think deeply, communicate confidently and engage meaningfully with their learning. As a Centre of Excellence, Meadow View are proud of the progress they have made, whilst recognising that oracy development is an ongoing journey. They continue to refine and strengthen their approach across all subjects and welcome the opportunity to share both successes and next steps.
