This full-day training programme is designed for school leaders, implementation leads and oracy leads across primary, secondary and early years settings. Rather than focusing primarily on classroom techniques, the day will explore how leaders can create the conditions for sustainable improvement across their organisations. The training draws on the Making Change Stick framework, which integrates implementation science, improvement science, behavioural science, systems thinking and educational leadership into a practical process for leading change effectively. Objectives: the day is designed to help school leaders: • Understand why so many well-intentioned change initiatives fail to achieve lasting impact • Develop a shared understanding of implementation and improvement science • Explore practical alternatives to top-down change • Learn how to build buy-in without increasing workload • Reflect strategically on implementation priorities within their own settings • Explore how to embed and sustain improvements over time.
