Service Description

This is an essential introductory course for anyone that is new to school governance. The course will explore the core roles and responsibilities of all governing boards and consider how governing boards effectively fulfil these roles. Throughout the course, participants will be signposted to other governance development opportunities to enable you to build upon the foundations provided within this course. This session will be repeated on repeated on Thursday, 20th May 2027 from 17:30 - 19:00. Cost: this training is included at no extra cost for governors and trustees whose schools are subscribed to the RoSIS Core Offer or those purchasing the Governance Package. For non-subscribing settings, the cost is £75 per person per session.
