Autumn - a year after the publication of the Writing Framework, this session will enable leaders to evaluate and discuss the impact that this research has had on their early writing curriculum and consider their next steps for the following terms. Tuesday, 13th October from 13:30 - 15:30 at Learn Sheffield and repeated on Tuesday, 20th October from 13:30 - 15:30 at Rockingham PDC. Spring - an online briefing session followed by an in-person workshop. This online session is set aside for the sharing of research-based practice. The focus will be reading fluency. Tuesday, 12th January from 13:30 - 15:30 online. The in-person workshop, as part of the Early Years Festival, will be facilitated by Sue Gregg & Lucy Marsh and will cover English, Early Reading, Early Handwriting and Oracy. Tuesday, 16th March from 15:45 - 17:45 at Rockingham PDC. Summer - our final session will bring all English subject leaders together at Rockingham Professional Development Centre to work with a specialist (tbc) to enhance subject knowledge, leadership and practice. Tuesday, 8th June from 9:00 - 15:30 at Rockingham PDC. Cost: Schools and settings accessing the Core Offer to RoSIS or who have subscribed to the Learn Sheffield package have unlimited access to the subject leader networks. Non-subscribing schools and settings can choose to purchase this package separately at £2,100 per school or individually at £525 per subject. In addition, an English CPD (Primary) package and the Writing Assessment & Moderation packages are available for schools to access. RoSIS subscribers have unlimited access, for others a charge of £510 per package applies.
