Our popular Computing Subject Leader Network Meetings are a valuable opportunity to connect, collaborate, and grow as leaders in computing education. They allow leaders to stay informed about the latest curriculum updates and digital learning strategies; share best practices and classroom experiences with fellow computing leads; explore new tools, resources, and approaches to enhance computing teaching; and be part of a supportive network of professionals passionate about computing education. Whether you're new to the role or an experienced subject leader, your insights and contributions are highly valued. Facilitated by Catherine Elliott, Primary Lead for the York, South & East Yorkshire Computing Hub, these sessions will take place from 16:00 - 17:30 as follows: Autumn – Teaching about AI in Primary (Part 2). We will cover the key terms and messages in computing and online safety, plus explore free resources for teaching about AI. Thursday, 13th November at Albion House and repeated on Tuesday, 25th November at Rockingham PDC. Spring – Developing as a Computing Leader. Supporting you to improve as computing lead (regardless of your experience) plus how to achieve the Computing Quality Mark. Monday, 9th March at Rockingham PDC and repeated on Tuesday, 17th March at Albion House. Summer – Computing Careers & Enrichment. Wednesday, 3rd June at Rockingham PDC and repeated on Monday, 15th June at Albion House.
