Service Description

Understanding, Preventing & Responding to Bullying This session covers the psychological behaviours behind bullying and clarifies the exact roles of everyone involved in a bullying situation. It provides staff with the tools and confidence to deliver highly effective, legally compliant responses in line with recommended policies and procedures. A core focus of this session is introducing ‘The Bystander Bridge’, a powerful three-step framework designed to transform passive onlookers into active defenders. Key Takeaways: * Decoding Behaviours: Deepening your understanding of why bullying happens and the roles children play within these dynamics. * The Bystander Bridge: Practical steps to embed Notice & Name, Support, and Report/Refer seamlessly into your PSHE curriculum. * Consistent Responses: Aligning your school’s policy, procedures, and recording methods to eliminate variability across different staff members. * Staff Confidence: Empowering team members to address and record behaviour concerns swiftly and decisively. Ideal for: Inducting new staff, addressing rising behaviour concerns, or schools looking to build absolute consistency and confidence in recording and reporting bullying incidents. Online delivery sessions on: Tuesday, 29th September from 16:00 - 17:30 OR Wednesday, 14th October from 16:00 - 17:30 OR Thursday, 3rd December from 16:00 - 17:30. Schools and settings subscribing to the Core Offer to RoSIS from September 2026 can access the Anti-Bullying full package of support for £525 per school. Packages can be agreed for Trusts/School Group partnerships. The package includes 2 in person school visits, choosing from the Core workshops and the Additional workshops menu, plus: * A virtual Staff CPD session * A virtual Parent CPD session * A virtual Anti-Bullying Week session (November 2026) * A virtual Safer Internet Day (February 2027) * A place on each of the CPD sessions.
