Pam is the Strategic Lead for School Effectiveness in Rotherham. She has worked in Rotherham as a teacher and a leader for over 30 years and she is delighted to say she still has the same excitement, enthusiasm, and passion for education that she had when she first started her career all those years ago. Before leading the school effectiveness team, Pam was the head teacher of an outstanding school in Rotherham, an NLE and an associate head for Rotherham’s School Improvement Service. She has a wide range of experience leading school improvement and in supporting schools of concern. She is a firm believer in the power of school-to-school support and in developing strong working partnership between schools. She has deep-rooted belief in the power of education to change the life chances of children and their families and in the impact that a caring, successful, and exciting school experience can have on unlocking potential, developing confidence, and inspiring a love of learning.
