Session 1- Monday, 20th January from 16:00 - 18:00 What can research and writing moderation tell us about an effective writing curriculum and how it is implemented? Session 2- Wednesday, 22nd January from 9:30 - 15:30 The start of the writing journey: Getting it right in early years and key stage 1 and how key stage 1 impacts on key stage 2 Key stage 2: writing as a reader, reading as a writer Assessing writing in key stage 1 Formative and summative assessment approaches in key stage 2 Session 3- Tuesday, 4th February from 16:00 - 18:00 Bring it together, writing case studies from local schools and the opportunity to share writing plans with course leaders. Cost: £300 per person, one place included for those accessing the Core Offer to RoSIS, additional places available at £150 per person.
