We hope to see many of you at the Primary Headteachers' Meeting which is an opportunity for colleagues to come together to hear key updates, local practice and an opportunity to hear from the new CEO of Rotherham Council, John Edwards. We'll hear from Becky Parry, Children’s Capital of Culture, about how this exciting borough‑wide initiative is empowering children and creating new opportunities for creativity, culture, and community engagement. Colleagues from Badsley Primary School will share their experience of visiting Crowden Outdoor Education Centre, the enriching residential learning opportunity that supports resilience, teamwork and outdoor learning for pupils. Vicki John-Lewis from South Yorkshire Maths Hub will share the latest insights from our regional Maths Hub, including CPD, mastery updates and new programmes for primary maths improvement. We'll hear from Matt Revill, Headteacher at Woodsetts Primary School who will share a first‑hand insight into his recent inspection experience, helping you prepare your school with confidence. After the break, HMI Katrina Lightfoot will deliver a keynote providing essential updates, clarity and guidance on current Ofsted expectations. We'll then hear from Elizabeth Wright about the National Year of Reading and opportunities to engage your pupils, staff and families in the nationwide celebration of reading before closing with an update on the Together for Tomorrow initiative and the second live performance of our song which we hope will end the morning on a positive and uplifting note!
