Service Description

This session will provide information and guidance around the assessment of EXS writing at the end of KS1. It is aimed at those who are new to Y2, in schools where they are continuing to use the STA Teacher Assessment Frameworks for writing (now optional) to assess writing at the end of KS1. It is also recommended that delegates also book onto the New to Y2 GDS Writing session. There are two sessions, delegates may choose the most convenient from: Monday, 30th October from 13:30 - 15:30 at Albion House, Savile Street, Sheffield, S4 7UD or Wednesday, 1st November at Rockingham Professional Development Centre, Roughwood Road, Rotherham, S61 4HY. Two further sessions focussing on GDS Writing are also available for teachers who are new to Y2. Again, delegates may choose the most convenient, from: Wednesday, 24th January from 13:30 - 15:30 at Rockingham Professional Development Centre, Roughwood Road, Rotherham, S61 4HY. or Friday, 2nd February from 13:30 - 15:30 at Albion House, Savile Street, Sheffield, S4 7UD.
