KS2 STA Additional Writing Assessment & Moderation Training Each year, the STA releases a suite of materials that are used to train external LA moderators. ‘Pupil Can’ statements are unpicked and clarification and examples provided. Amy Parry-McDermott offers this training, annually, to all Y6 teachers (experienced and new) to ensure that everyone is in receipt of the same messages around assessment and moderation. There are three opportunities to attend this training on: Monday, 9th March at Rockingham PDC from 13:30 – 15:45 Tuesday, 10th March at Learn Sheffield from 13:30 – 15:45 Wednesday, 11th March at RPDC from 13:30 – 15:45. Cost: included for RMBC Local Authority maintained schools and those purchasing the Core Offer to RoSIS or the Assessment Package via Learn Sheffield. The session is also included for those who have entered into a Formal Agreement with RoSIS, on behalf of RMBC.
