Service Description

RoSIS have a team of Advisory Teachers to offer school support in the following subjects: English, Maths and Literacy. Since support began in 2019, on average, Rotherham’s outcomes and headline measures have improved in English and Maths. Network schools have all improved their outcomes and progress. English support is facilitated by Michael Payton-Greene – mpg@waleshigh.com Michael has worked in a range of roles in a number of schools in the North of England. Michael has worked as a Head of English and Assistant Headteacher with responsibility for T&L, Curriculum Development, Pupil Premium and Assessment. He is currently a Deputy Headteacher at a large comprehensive school. Michael has worked as an examiner, coursework moderator and advisor for AQA and WJEC. More recently Michael has supported schools with curriculum development and preparation for OFSTED. Michael continues to teach at all levels and is currently seconded to the University of Sheffield teaching on the PGDE course. Michael can work with schools on English, Literacy and CPD and provides School Support. • Friday, 27th September from 9:30 – 12:30 • Wednesday, 27th November from 12:00 – 15:00 • Monday, 20th January* from 12:00 – 15:00 • Friday, 13th June from 9:30 – 12:30 * joint meeting with primary colleagues Cost • Schools fully subscribing to RoSIS – included • Rotherham Schools - £500 per subject • All other Schools and Providers - £700 per subject
