We have adapted the delivery model for this year, based on your feedback, with some sessions offered remotely and recorded, as well as the popular face-to-face opportunities. Where links across subjects can be naturally made and CPD offered accordingly, we will be trying this approach from September 2025. These sessions are an opportunity for schools to keep on top of the ever-changing educational landscape and hear about the latest information from the DfE, Ofsted and other national bodies as well as updates on current thinking, research and pedagogical developments relevant to a particular area. The meetings also offer a chance to explore resources and to network with other school leaders. Hosting content and resources on Forge CPD is a crucial element of this package to enable efficient and convenient sharing of best practice and provide subject leaders with the tools to disseminate wider to colleagues within their school. All schools who choose to access this element of the RoSIS offer will be provided with log-in details. Dates, and where possible, the focus for the sessions are published on the RoSIS CPD & Events area of Forge CPD. We recommend accessing this online to ensure the most up-to-date information is available. Geography Subject Leader meeting dates are: Monday, 6th October online from 16:00 - 17:30 Tuesday, 13th January online from 16:00 - 17:30 Thursday, 11th June at Learn Sheffield from 16:00 - 17:30. Following feedback and the success of last year, we are pleased to also be offering a Geography CPD Day. This will take place at Rockingham PDC on Thursday, 20th November from 9:00 - 15:30, lunch is provided. Cost: Schools and settings accessing the Core Offer to RoSIS have unlimited access to the subject leader networks, including the Geography CPD day. Non-subscribing schools and settings can choose to purchase this package separately at £2,040 per school or individually at £510 per subject area, per school. A delegate rate of £97 applies for the CPD day.
