BY POPULAR DEMAND - ANOTHER SESSION! By request, Amy Parry-McDermott (RoSIS) and Sarah Hubbard (Learn Sheffield) are offering to repeat this term’s English SL network meeting as an online twilight. This is to enable those who were unable to attend during the day to consider the key messages from the DfE’s Writing Framework through the lens of English leadership. We do hope that you will join us on Monday, 10th November from 15:45-17:45 via Zoom. English Subject Leader Network Meetings for primary schools are scheduled as follows: Autumn – Following the publication of DfE’s Writing Framework, Amy Parry-McDermott (RoSIS) and Sarah Hubbard (Learn Sheffield) will share and discuss key messages and the implications of these for English Subject Leaders. Monday, 13th October at Albion House from 13:30 - 15:30 Tuesday, 21st October at Rockingham PDC from 13:30 - 15:30 Spring – focus to be confirmed: Tuesday, 13th January online from 13:30 - 15:30. Summer – focus to be confirmed: Thursday, 4th June at Rockingham PDC from 13:30 - 15:30. Cost: Schools and settings accessing the Core Offer to RoSIS have unlimited access to the subject leader networks and to the English CPD package including access to all resources via Forge CPD. Non-subscribing schools and settings can choose to purchase the Subject Leader Network Meetings 2025-26 package separately at £2,040 per school or individually at £510 per subject area, per school. The English CPD package may be of interest to teachers, support staff and teaching assistants – not specifically those leading the subject area. Places can be booked at no additional cost for schools accessing the Core Offer to RoSIS or the package can be purchased at £510 per school. Some sessions are also available on an individual basis at £97 per person.
