Rationale: To support new teachers in establishing great classrooms. This will be achieved by: • Developing an agile and orientated classroom presence • Understanding how learning can happen • Experiencing primary-focussed practical sessions • Creating a bespoke toolkit of pedagogical approaches • Reflecting on professional progress Who is it for? Teachers who are new to the classroom hoping to enhance their pedagogical toolkit, their creativity, their management of exciting classrooms, and their desire that their practice will change children’s lives. Session One - Making Learning Matter Monday, 17th November from 8:45 - 15:15 at Rockingham PDC Session Two - Botheredness in Action: A shared film of Botheredness in the classroom, presented by Hywel Wednesday, 21st January from 16:00 - 17:00 online Session Three - Knowledge, Story, and Practical Pedagogy Wednesday, 25th February from 8:45 - 15:00 at Rockingham PDC Session Four - Creativity with Purpose Monday, 9th March from 16:00 - 17:00 online Session Four - Knowledge Exchange and Celebration Friday, 17th April from 8:45 - 15:00 at Rockingham Professional Development Centre Cost & Booking Details: Schools subscribing to RoSIS have one place on the programme included in their subscription fee, additional places are available at £97 per delegate. For others a charge of £215 per delegate applies.
