Facilitated by Small Steps, on behalf of the Together for Tomorrow Initiative

Starts 19 Jan 2026Online

Service Description

Under the Together for Tomorrow (T4T) initiative, this session will be facilitated by Small Steps. Founded in 2015, Small Steps combats ERW ideology through training, education, engagement, and grassroots action. Its staff, including former ERW activists and affected family members, bring unique lived experience to challenge hate and division. Using their insider knowledge, they mentor individuals away from extremism, proving that with support, people can leave and rebuild their lives. Their adult awareness training seeks to upskill people so that they both understand what the ERW is, but also how to reduce it. The session will be an hour online and will seek to provide training for professionals and the community to better understand the ERW and suggest ways to challenge it. This training outlines grievances manipulated by the ERW, a local and national extreme right-wing activity breakdown, recruitment techniques, and alternative-narrative ideas explained. The session is FREE to all schools.
