Story making has been my passion since age 8. Over more than four decades I have created entire worlds and universes, which I have only just begun to share. In 2018 I self-published my novel ‘Daisy and the Dwarf Dragon’, a coming-of-age fantasy adventure for young adults with LGBTQ themes, fear of loss, grief and an ordinary girl standing up in the face of monstrous evil. I have been involved in a variety of professional creative projects including script writing, producing, and directing full length plays and comedy sketch shows, including Arts Council Funded projects. In 2017 I was selected to participate in the ‘On the Bench’ documentary short film series for emerging artists in the North. This was funded by the Arts Council and produced by Up Projects as part of their Floating Cinema programme. My episode was chosen for a featured screening at The Hull City of Culture 2017. It can be viewed on YouTube and I can provide a link to the episode on request. My current projects in progress include stories about space pirates and a haunted day spa.

I have just finished assisting in a workshop for reception age pupils as part of the Sparking Wonder Project with Clifton Park. I am also offering CPD for staff on story making, based on my background as an outsider artist from a deprived area.
