Service Description

Facilitated by Ruth Sampson from Wales Primary School, these sessions are aimed at Teaching Assistants and Support Staff who want to build on their subject knowledge in order to best support children with their maths learning. The training will include the use of manipulatives, the importance of mathematical talk and addressing misconceptions. The first session will focus on the KS1 curriculum and the second session on the KS2 curriculum. KS1 session – Thursday 1st February 2024 at RPDC from 1:15pm – 3:15pm KS2 session – Thursday 7th March 2024 at RPDC from 1:15pm – 3:15pm RoSIS subscribing schools have unlimited access to the session, for non-subscribing schools the cost for this session is £95 per person.
