Service Description

Many schools in Rotherham currently have one or more vacancies on their governing board. The Rotherham School Improvement Service is working in partnership with Inspiring Governance, a charity funded by the Department for Education (DfE) to recruit school governors across the country, and this bespoke event is for RMBC employees who are interested in learning more about volunteering as a school governor. This informal event will provide you with an opportunity to learn more about the key roles and responsibilities of school governing boards, and will also provide more details about how you can register your interest to become a school governor via the Inspiring Governance site.
