RoSIS have a team of Advisory Teachers to offer school support in the following subjects: English, Maths and Literacy. Since support began in 2019, on average, Rotherham’s outcomes and headline measures have improved in English and Maths. Network schools have all improved their outcomes and progress. Maths support is facilitated by Jane Watson – jw@waleshigh.com. Jane has worked in South Yorkshire schools for over 30 years. Jane brings a wealth of experience from her roles as Head of Mathematics, Assistant Headteacher (T&L, Assessment, Data and CPD) and as a Local Authority Advisor for Mathematics. Jane continues to teach Maths in all key stages and is currently seconded to the University of Sheffield teaching on the PGDE course. Jane has strong links with the South Yorkshire Maths Hub and close relationships with all major exam boards. Jane leads the Maths Network and provides School Support. • Monday, 30th September from 9:30 – 12:30 • Wednesday, 4th December from 12:00 – 15:00 • Friday, 7th February from 12:00 – 15:00 • Thursday, 19th June* from 9:30 – 12:30 * potential joint event with primary colleagues Cost • Schools fully subscribing to RoSIS – included • Rotherham Schools - £500 per subject • All other Schools and Providers - £700 per subject
