The future prosperity of our communities is inextricably linked to the quality of education and the raising of aspirations.  RoSIS are proud to work in partnership with schools and our educational partners to provide a service that is responsive to need and rooted in collaborative practice to improve outcomes for all Rotherham’s children and young people. Our workforce of serving school leaders and consultants understand the local and national picture to provides expert support, challenge and evidence informed training and development opportunities.

We will;

• Find out about participants’ prior knowledge, experience and goals and use this in the design of activities to secure progression

• Provide gap tasks for self directed learning.

• Be explicit about the evidence underpinning practices and how and why practices are intended to work.

• Seek robust and independent evaluation of our CPD offer.

• Support structured collaboration and discussion between colleagues and schools about the impact on pupils

• Offer expert challenge. 

• Ensure that sessions are designed to sustain and embed change over time.

• Ensure that all sessions are well prepared and that the venue environment supports effective learning.
